Marketing Specialist – Temp to Hire – Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (about 40 hours a week – flexible hours)
Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the growing our team. Our ideal candidate has 3 years of marketing experience or a marketing college degree and a proven track record of successfully managing various projects end-to-end. Our Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Development and will be instrumental in the development, coordination, and execution of various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience across multiple marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital, and social media. The marketing Specialist must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. The position is available to local Omaha and surrounding neighborhoods resident.
Responsibilities for Marketing Specialist
- Production of dynamic PowerPoint sales and client presentations.
- Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, and content marketing.
- Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and merges, and establishing contacts.
- Creation and production of marketing materials and collateral.
- Write and edit content for different platforms, such as social media, website, and press releases.
- Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
- Conduct market and competitive research.
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
- Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials ensuring all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
- Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs, and features is a must. Extensive experience in creating dynamic PowerPoint presentations is a plus.

Qualifications for Marketing Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, and or
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing.
- Omaha and surrounding neighborhood’s resident.
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
- A firm grasp of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
- Must be a self-starter who can independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
- Must have a high level of creativity.
Occasional travel may be required.
