JOB SUMMARY:

An experienced Maintenance Worker for small apartment community in Hooper, Nebraska.  Work includes unit turn-around, lawn mowing and landscaping, sidewalk snow removal, painting, moving trash bins for collections, and light maintenance. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and custodial experience is necessary.  Applicant should be skilled at prioritizing routine and preventative maintenance along with special work projects.  Job assignments will be given through tenant requested Work Order system and as needed by employer. Candidate must be able to make rational decisions and work independently.  Open to ongoing and on-the-job training and learning.  Ability to work patiently with a variety of personalities including residents, contractors and staff is needed.  Ideal candidate is able to maintain confidentiality.  Punctuality and good time management are important.  Qualified candidate should be able to provide references.  Background checks will be done.  Drug-free workplace.  Knowledge of Fair Housing a plus.
