Veterinary Technician – Temp to Hire – Monday through Friday 8am-Noon and 1:00pm to 5:30pm – Saturday 8:00am to noon – possible weekend emergencies

This position will require a willingness and desire to learn how to perform most tasks performed on a daily basis in a veterinary practice. This practice operates with a small number of staff and this necessitates teamwork and flexibility with fulfillment of different job descriptions.

Responsibilities:

Interacting on a daily basis with clients and animals in a friendly professional manner.

Focusing on making the visit to the clinic as comfortable as is reasonable for the client and the animal.

Paying attention to detail and accuracy with all responsibilities

Technician will apply most all job skills attained in formal schooling or in previous work experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Certified Veterinary Technician preferred but experience Veterinary Technician without certification will be considered
• One year experience working in a veterinary practice
• Must be quick thinker and make decisions independently
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
