Child Care  – Temp to Hire position – Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm

Individual would be assisting in the development, implementation, management and evaluation of complete child care services.    Other Duties would include planning and organizing meetings, attend conferences, workshops, building coverage special events and other duties as assigned.  Individual must have knowledge of budgeting, fundraising, public speaking, supervising and CPR/AED training must be maintained. Ability to fulfill all of the licensing requirements of the State of Nebraska.

Essential Functions:

Individual must be fully knowledgeable of flag football, volleyball, soccer and basketball – includes all rules and regulations.  Candidate must possess excellent customer serve skill and be able to explain why things are enforced to parents, plyers and fans.  Complete incident and accident reports as necessary.  Candidate must have the ability wo work independently, pay attention to details, answer participant questions, maintain equipment and perform other duties as assigned.  Candidate must complete and maintain CPR and First Aid trainings.

• Supervise and provide guidance to Assistant Teachers and Support Staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and 1500 verified clock hours of experience in organized group activities for young children as indicated by a positive reference from a former employer or supervisor or obtain 45 hours of in-service training within the first 6 months of hire based on training approval from Department of Education Training Center.
• Proven experience as a Lead Teacher in an early childhood education setting. With
• Deep understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• A commitment to the values and principles of the Catholic/Christian faith.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
